Kushalnagar, Aug. 11: A vaccination camp to prevent cervical cancer was organized at the Kushalnagar Rotary Hall under the auspices of Rotary Club Kushalnagar and Inner Wheel Club. Young women and girls participated in the camp. Inaugurating the camp, Dr. Hari Shetty explained about the prevention of cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is a big challenge for women's health all over the world. This disease caused by the HPV virus can be prevented by giving vaccination at the right time. If people above 9 years of age get vaccinated, the risk of this disease will be less in the future. He said that awareness and precaution are the main obstacles to preventing this disease. He said that Rotary and Inner Wheel are working as a district project to prevent cervical cancer.
