The General Medical Council carried out an investigation before issuing a formal warning to the doctor for his behaviour which did not meet the standards required of a physician. Dr Adam Luke Brown was found to have shared an intimate/sexual photograph of a colleague without their consent, as well as engaging in sexual relations with another co-worker on the premises of an NHS Trust. He was admonished to treat his colleagues fairly and with respect, and a warning was added to his medical registration which will be visible to the public for two years.
