A bus in Tangi swerves off the road, leaving two in critical condition.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, a privately-owned bus named 'Lovely' was headed from Jajpur to Bhubaneswar when it encountered a tragic accident near Tangi toll gate in Kataka district. According to reports from Tangi police station, the bus lost control and swerved off the road, causing severe damage to one side of the vehicle. It was estimated that the incident took place between 2:30 pm and 3 pm.

As a result of the accident, two passengers were critically injured while 10 others sustained varying degrees of injuries. The injured were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital for medical attention. Upon further investigation, the police officer-in-charge, Bikash Sethi, revealed that the bus was likely overspeeding, which was the primary cause of the accident.

Eyewitnesses stated that the bus was traveling at a high speed before suddenly veering off the road and crashing. The impact of the crash was so severe that one side of the bus was completely destroyed. It was a terrifying experience for the passengers on board, and many were in shock and disbelief at what had happened.
