On Sunday late night, a car caught fire on Maharashtra's Mumbra Bypass road in Thane. The car was travelling from Panvel to Thane and had seven occupants in it- two men, two women, and three children.
As soon as they received news of the incident, firefighters reached the spot and put the fire out. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Thane Municipal Corporation has confirmed that all seven people in the car were able to evacuate safely.
