Neighbours is going all out to make its 'Flashback Week' the soap event of the year; with a number of familiar faces set to return to Ramsay Street!
The long-running soap returned to screens last month, two years after the events of the star-studded finale on Channel 5.
Since then, there have been a lot of twists and questions. Of particular interest is the fact that Toadie Rebecchi and Terese Willis are now married. Fans will recall that in the finale of the popular show, Toadie married Melanie Pearson, while Terese reunited with long-time love, Paul Robinson.
However, Paul jilted Terese at the altar during the show's time off-air, leading to the end of their union. After Melanie mysteriously vanished after allegedly claiming she was not cut out to be a stepmother, Toadie and Terese found each other again.
Now, Amazon Freevee has confirmed a very special week of episodes to be streamed next week that will take audiences back in time to fill in all the blanks and answer the questions we are all dying to know.
The episodes will feature a number of iconic characters, with Melanie and Toadie at the center. Paul's shocking jilting of Terese will also be revealed.
David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan, Chloe Brennan, Elly Conway, Bea Nillson, Amy Greenwood, Yashvi Rebecchi, Mal Kennedy, Phil Martin, Callum Rebecchi, Imogen Willis, and Nicolette Stone will all be returning. Nicolette will be played by newcomer Hannah Monson, who replaces Charlotte Chimes.
Neighbours' executive producer Jason Herbison said, "The new season began with some major shocks for the audience – but is everything as it seems? Flashback week will take us back in time and explore what really happened over the last two years. By the end of it, everything will be changed for the residents, with the ramifications lasting for months to come."
