Samar Deep Singh from the Madhya Pradesh Athletics Academy of Excellence, Nidhi Pawaiya and Shalini Chowdhary from Barkatullah University, Arjun Vaskale and Shankar from the MP Fencing Academy of Excellence, Ankit Sharma and Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar from the Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy of Excellence, Ashi Chouksey and Chinki Yadav will be competing at the World University Games.

Also, Nandani Vats and Kumari Avinash Yadav, both from Madhya Pradesh, will represent India in Judo. The players departed for China on Wednesday night, and were sent off with well-wishes from Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia.

At the TT Nagar Stadium, Minister Scindia said, “Our sportspersons are doing their state and country proud by reaching the international stage with their better performance and higher levels of training.” She encouraged the players to focus on their goals and wished them the best of luck.
