Women are taking control of the gaming industry! XSET, a renowned gaming brand, has recently acquired the Queens Gaming Collective, a highly successful gaming lifestyle org, that is led by women. This move aims to create a more diverse and inclusive gaming space.

As part of this acquisition, XSET's Chief Culture Officer, Erin Ashley Simon, will work closely with Queens and their global roster as it joins XSET's existing team of 44 musicians, pro athletes, content creators, gamers, and other celebrities.

Erin Ashley Simon, an Afro-Latina gamer, shared, “Being a woman in a male-dominated industry like gaming isn't easy. That's why I'm so excited to be working with Queens Gaming Collective, who are challenging the status quo, thinking outside of the box, and having a lot of fun as they do it.” She further added that their commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive space is what inspired the acquisition in the first place.

XSET's CEO and co-founder Greg Selkoe also shared that the acquisition will help in expanding the infrastructure, resources, and representation for women competitors. It will also provide new opportunities, revenue streams, merchandise, and other resources to ensure diversity and inclusion in the white, male-dominated industry.

Erin Ashley Simon added, “We want to find more opportunities for these ladies, inspire even more women gamers and advocate for them, while truly leveling the playing field. Whether it be securing brand deals, creating their own merchandise, or working with other XSET talent — we want to offer them support and make sure they're treated as a pivotal part of our team and the industry overall, because they deserve it.”
