In Bhubaneswar, there has been a recent launch of a new programme in Precision Engineering by the World Skill Center in response to the growing needs of the industry. Precision Engineering is just one of the six subjects offered under the School of Engineering at WSC.
Students who enroll in this course will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in various areas such as engineering drawing, inspection techniques, CNC turning, CNC milling, 3D CAD/CAM applications, multi-axis programming and machining, CNC sheet metal fabrication, and grinding. Additionally, the WSC is also conducting advanced diploma training courses with the guidance of the Institute of Technical Education in Singapore.
It is worth noting that WSC also organizes student exchange and internship programmes in Singapore on an annual basis. This provides students with an opportunity to gain international education and training experience, which can greatly enhance their skills and knowledge.
