He also promised that the farmers will no longer face any difficulties in the Mandis, as the BJP government will ensure that they have access to all necessary facilities, including a guaranteed minimum support price of Rs 3,100 per quintal for paddy.
Majhi's public meeting was attended by farmers from not only Bargarh, but also its neighboring districts like Bolangir, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, and Subarnapur. The chief minister even took the time to interact with the farmers during a road show, making it his first official visit to a district outside of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
