Viewers not surprised as first celeb eliminated from I’m A Celebrity.
The first celebrity has been eliminated from I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! 2023, and it was no surprise to viewers. After two contestants left the show on ‘medical grounds’, it was between Italian jockey Frankie Dettori, 52, and YouTuber Nella Rose, 26, but the public decided it was time for the sportsman to go.

Reacting to his departure, Nigel Farage declared it a ‘fix’, given how Frankie was the last one in and first one out, after he was a surprise late arrival alongside Tony Bellew. Despite the lack of airtime, Frankie was an amazing sport and conquered his fears in the Bushtucker Trials.

Talking in his exit interview, the jockey was disappointed to be leaving camp, but shared his pride over his achievements. He also backed Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson for the win. Viewers weren’t exactly shocked by the news as there were points where viewers forgot Frankie even existed due to his lack of airtime.

The Geordie duo declared on Sunday night that the public vote was now open for the second official elimination. With the likes of Josie Gibson, Marvin Humes, Danielle Harold, Fred Sirieix, and Nick Pickard remaining, the show is sure to be an interesting one.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX. If you’ve got a celebrity story, video or pictures get in touch with the The Agency entertainment team by emailing them, calling 020 3615 2145 or by visiting their Submit Stuff page.
