This incident took place on the evening of December 7, when the offender allegedly got into a physical altercation with a 41-year-old man on Landscape Drive in Mooroolbark. The police believe that the offender then followed the man, who was accompanied by his young son and elderly mother, to their home on Chevalier Crescent before eventually leaving.

However, the situation did not end there. The offender later returned to the scene with a group of other men and threatened to harm the victim. The whole incident was captured on CCTV, which shows the offender trying to force his way into the house. Fortunately, the victim was able to confront the offender and he eventually fled from the scene.

The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, received medical treatment. The police are now seeking to speak with a male suspect, described as a Caucasian in his mid to late teens, with a slim build and approximately 183cm tall. He also has a tattoo on his right wrist or arm and was seen riding a red electric bicycle.
