Vicki Michelle, the EastEnders star who plays Rocky's ex-wife Jo, has paid tribute to her younger sister who recently passed away. On her Instagram, she shared a heart-warming photo of her, her sister, and her daughter.

Alongside the photo she wrote, "Said Goodbye to my beautiful baby sister Suzie this week. Beautiful inside and out. Hundreds of people came to say their farewell. She was so loved. Wonderful memory with Suzie and her daughter Susie. RIP Beautiful sister. Be Happy in your new home. Love You."

The post was met with an outpouring of love and support from Vicki's followers, who sent their condolances and love.

Vicki first made her entrance to EastEnders in March of this year. Her character Jo, known for her trouble-making, had tricked Kathy into thinking she had a secret son with Rocky. She returned in July to create more mischief, which resulted in a catfight as she attempted to reveal Rocky's bigamy to the congregation, and then demanded a huge £50k for her silence.

In her final scenes, Jo was on the phone to a mystery person, explaining that she'd "got what she wanted" but that there was "plenty more for the taking". This left everyone wondering if Jo would be back to create more drama.

When asked about it at the recent Inside Soap Awards, Vicki said, "I think they've left it open. That was the thing. And hopefully, talk soon! That would be great. I loved it. People were ringing me up saying 'Oh my god, we love this character!' And the funny thing is that when you're doing EastEnders, people defend you. I'm having a go at Rocky and then a fan will say 'Oh, she was really mean to Rocky', and then you'll get another fan going 'Well, what do you expect? He walked out on her 25 years ago! She didn't know whether he was dead or alive!' So, I think that's the amazing thing about EastEnders, that people take on the characters."
