Two soldiers from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed in an attack by militants in Manipur.

Sadly, the brave CRPF sub-inspector N Sarkar and head constable Arup Saini succumbed to their injuries. The injured officers, inspector Jadav Das and constable Aftab Das, were immediately rushed to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences in Imphal. Fortunately, they are now out of danger.
