Jedward, the Irish twin brothers made up of John and Edward Grimes, instantly stood out on 2009’s X Factor with their giant quiffs and seemingly endless energy. Edward confirmed on X over the weekend that two men had tried to steal his belongings and that the incident left him ‘shaken’. He wrote that he was ‘grabbed from behind’ and that everything ‘happened so fast’.
Edward also said people’s ‘whole lives and memories’ are on their phones, and urged people to be careful. He wrote: ‘Just would hate this to happen to anyone else and [them] being made feel vulnerable.’
