Two bank customers in Indore were thrashed by a loan recovery agent for failing to repay a loan.
On Friday, an incident of violence occurred in the Tukoganj area of Indore when a recovery agent of a private bank allegedly thrashed two persons in the premises. According to Jitendra Singh Yadav, the station in charge of Tukoganj police station, a case has been registered against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code after a complaint was lodged by Mukesh Kothare.

Kothare and his relative Sevkram had gone to the bank situated in Silver Mall and got into an argument with the agent over some issue. The agent then took them into the cabin and started assaulting them. Upon further investigation, the police found out that the altercation was caused due to Kothare's failure to repay the EMI of a loan. The police have been provided with the mobile number of the accused and they are now examining the CCTV footage of the bank and gathering information from the bank officials to identify the accused.

The incident is yet another reminder of the importance of ensuring safety and security for all citizens. We hope the police are able to take the necessary action to bring the culprit to justice.
