Attention all travelers, please be advised that the Elizabeth line trains are currently facing some disruptions. Due to a broken down train blocking the line, there are no trains running to Heathrow Airport at the moment. This means that both the Heathrow Express services between London Paddington and Terminal 5, as well as the Elizabeth line services between Terminal 5 and Shenfield, are unfortunately unable to operate.
This news may come as a disappointment for those of you who were planning on taking the train to the airport before embarking on your holiday travels. According to Network Rail, the disruption is expected to continue until at least 10am. As a result, the Heathrow Express service has been completely suspended. Additionally, some Elizabeth line services will either start or end at Hayes & Harlington or West Drayton instead.
In light of this situation, we want to ensure that you are still able to reach your destination in a timely manner. As such, we are implementing ticket acceptance on the Piccadilly line, South Western Railway, and select London Buses and RailAir routes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding during this time.
Please stay tuned for further updates and we will do our best to keep you informed. Thank you for choosing the Elizabeth line and we hope you have a safe and enjoyable journey.
