The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to begin the practical examinations for winter-bound schools tomorrow, November 14, 2023. Classes 10 and 12 students at the remaining schools will have to wait until January 1, 2024, to start their practical exams.
The board exams for classes 10 and 12 are scheduled to begin on February 15, 2024. Students planning to take the board exams should keep an eye out for any updates and details about the theoretical examination on the official website.
In order to avoid clashes with other undergraduate exams, CBSE has requested other organisations to consider the board exam schedule when fixing their own exam dates. The official notification stated, “All organisations holding examinations are requested to fix the dates of their examinations, keeping in mind the above-said schedule of board examinations.”
The official website of CBSE will soon host the final board examination datesheet. However, the board officials are yet to confirm this information.
In addition, CBSE also released the Class 10 English sample paper, along with a complete marking system. Students can find this resource on the official CBSE website at cbseacademic.nic.in. The paper is three hours long and is graded out of 80 points. It consists of three sections — reading, grammar and writing, and literature — to assess students’ language proficiency.
Moreover, all 11 questions in the Class 10 English marking scheme must be answered. There are no overall options, but there are internal options for the two questions in Section C and the four questions in Section D.
The students of CBSE Schools in Indore have urged people to vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. They believe that it is their duty to exercise their right to vote and help bring about a positive change in society.
