Kiran Tomar, wife of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, has been campaigning for her husband in Dimni constituency on the BJP ticket for the past ten days. Every day, she starts her day by offering prayers in temples and campaigns until sunset, accompanied by Union Minister’s sister Manju Sikarwar and other women members of the party - Kanchan Chouhan and Mamta Tomar.

At the same time, a clip showing an assault on a couple from Khandwa has gone viral, in which a professor is alleged to have thrown the turban of a 20-year-old youth. The Sikh community has come out in support of the accused, protesting against the video.
