Last night in Sydney's west, a chaotic scene unfolded as three men were charged in connection to a reported brawl. It all began when authorities were alerted about a dispute at a fast food establishment on The Horsley Drive in Wetherill Park at 11:15pm. It was reported that two groups of individuals were involved in the altercation, allegedly armed with weapons.
Upon arrival, police discovered a man in his 20s with a wound on his leg. Paramedics were quickly called to the scene and he was transported to Liverpool Hospital for further treatment. According to reports, one of the groups involved had fled the scene in a car before the authorities arrived.
As the situation unfolded, three men were apprehended by police at the location and were subsequently taken to Fairfield Police Station. Amongst the group were two 18-year-olds and a 19-year-old. All three individuals were charged with affray and later granted conditional bail. They are set to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Thursday, December 18.
