Patnisha Williams, Jessica Matthews, and Deanna Bynog are the founders of Get Signatured, a Black-owned customizable jewelry curator and accessories brand. After a successful start online, Get Signatured is making a big move and opening their first brick and mortar storefront in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
This grand opening marks a significant milestone for the brand as they expand from the virtual space to the real world. Get Signatured is committed to deepening connections with their consumers, and the brick and mortar location will enable them to do just that.
Attendees will be able to experience a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony conducted by East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome in the morning hour. Following the ceremony, guests will be able to tour Get Signatured's showroom and view their signature collections. As if that wasn't enough, there will be live giveaways and more!
Patnisha, Jessica, and Deanna are all extremely excited about the grand opening. Patnisha said, “It feels surreal and also amazing to open a storefront where we can build relationships with our customers and have a place where they can shop for their jewelry and accessories and feel seen.”
During National Black Business Month, Get Signatured is proud to join the fast-growing number of Black Owned businesses and brick and mortars in Baton Rouge. As Jessica points out, “Most businesses are built on Black spending power. It is a privilege to be able to fill in the gap by offering custom items for our community with unique names without the hefty price tag.”
Deanna, who is also a female entrepreneur, added, “Being able to launch a woman-owned jewelry storefront is one of the highlights of my entrepreneurship journey. The success of every woman…should be an inspiration to other women that your dreams can come true.”
