I'm a gamer and I know what it's like when you don't like a particular game but everyone accuses you of being biased. No matter what game it is, people have their opinions. When it comes to games like Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there are mixed feelings about it.
I'm not an edgelord, and I don't hate Nintendo either - I have a Switch and I enjoy most of their games. But I do not like Tears Of The Kingdom, and I don't think it's even a good game. I know it's one of the best made games in terms of features and it has no bugs, but I think Nintendo was so obsessed with what they could add to the game that they lost sight of the bigger picture.
To me, reusing the same map was a mistake. It's good that they could focus on other things, but they were so wrapped up in adding features to the existing map that it all ended up in a big mess. The physics engine is amazing, but you don't really get to use it since you have to build something specific. The Sky Islands and Depths are barely part of the game, and you can just ignore them and miss nothing.
I think the game is bloated with features. The solution to every problem is always simpler than you think, and the rewards are too small. The combat is almost the same as Breath Of The Wild, but it could've been more varied. The AI companions are almost useless and it was a waste of time to put them in the game. It also pretends to be a sequel to Breath Of The Wild, yet there are no references to it.
In conclusion, I think the developers got too caught up in the features they could add to the game and they forgot to make it fun and accessible. It's just the same game as Breath Of The Wild but with more features that don't really add to the game. You don't even get a playable Zelda character. So, in my opinion, it's not a good game and it's a waste of time.
