The Collector and Superintendent of Police of Sehore convened a meeting with the Salkanpur temple committee in Rehti town on Friday, ahead of the upcoming Navratri festival. Collector Praveen Singh stated that due to the construction works at the Devi Lok, entry of vehicles within the temple premises will not be allowed. He further shared that parking spots have been marked out for pilgrims, and more than 200 police personnel will be deployed in the premises to maintain law and order and keep a vigilant eye by installing CCTV cameras.
Collector Singh also instructed the temple committee to ensure that arrangements for clean drinking water, hygiene, parking, and other facilities are available to provide convenience to the pilgrims. Other officials were present in the meeting as well. This news comes in the wake of a man being caught at the Bhopal Railway Station with 38 kg of silver.
