Gonikoppalu, june.22: Gonikoppa Circle aspirant Jayaram assured the villagers that they would investigate the death of a woman who went to graze in a coffee plantation in Devapura panchayat. Savitri, a resident of Channangolli, had died on suspicion when she went to graze in the coffee plantation of Devapura panchayat ashram on Monday evening. The police also recorded a suspicious death in connection with the incident. Under the leadership of Former President of the Mayamudi Gram Panchayat, defending member Apatira Tatu Monnappa along with a few village leaders and panchayat members have moved to Gonikoppa police station and have discussed about the case with Circle aspirant Jayaram and SI Subbaiah.
