The L3 Agency provides Black women the opportunity to have a voice in leadership.
Larvetta Loftin had a dream, and she was determined to make it a reality. After spending a decade working in media relations, advertising, and marketing firms, she launched her own full-service influencer marketing and communications firm. Her goal was to create a space for women of color to share their stories and be celebrated.

The Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation reported that she launched The L3 Agency nearly 20 years ago, after feeling limited and undervalued in the corporate world. "I wanted to design a space that would be suitable for the way I speak and create, and I wanted to bring young creatives, young women to the table and give them support and make them feel like their voices were heard," said Loftin.

The brand marketing strategist serves clients from a community- and a female-centric place. Her firm has a long list of Fortune 500 companies, including Verizon, Bacardi, Toyota, McDonald's, and CVS Pharmacy. The L3 Agency has also worked on marketing and branding campaigns for municipalities, energy companies, and nonprofits. They also partner with small businesses to help them develop a marketing strategy to elevate their own brands.

Loftin also wants to inspire other minority business owners to follow their dreams. She recently launched a weekly podcast series called Black Businesses Matter. During episodes, she provides valuable insights and tips on how minority business owners can grow their businesses. She said, "We thought starting a podcast was a great way to be inclusive and talk to a wide audience."

The L3 Agency CEO is already looking to the future. She is in the process of building a new concept: merging podcasting with pop-ups, an extension of her live events and activations across the United States. She also plans to turn her podcast into a docuseries.

Loftin's entrepreneurial spirit and ambition have taken her a long way. She is an inspiration to all women of color, and she continues to make her mark in the business world.
