The Hip-Hop Museum is taking its show on the road, touring cities around the world.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, and what better way to celebrate than with The Hip Hop Museum Tour! Starting on October 14th, The Hip Hop Museum and Mass Appeal, along with sponsors CÎROC Ultra-Premium Vodka, will be bringing a curated exhibit to several cities, free of charge. The tour will be put together by Pete Nice and Paradise Gray, and will feature archival pieces from 1973-1990.

The Hip Hop Museum Tour is designed to take visitors through the early stages of hip-hop, highlighting the pioneers who helped create and cultivate a sound that has made waves across the world. The tour will take visitors from the block parties of the past to the sold-out stadium performances of the present, tracing the genre's evolution.

The tour will kick off in the birthplace of hip-hop, New York City, before moving on to a different city each week. After making stops in Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, and Charlotte, it will wrap up in Miami from December 5th to the 9th. In a written statement, Rocky Buccano, executive director of the Universal Hip Hop Museum, said "The Hip Hop Museum is thrilled to be in partnership with Mass Appeal and to have the support from CÎROC Ultra-Premium Vodka as we celebrate Hip Hop 50. Fifty years of growth and the global impact of Hip Hop culture in all its expressions. By taking the museum’s exhibition on tour, we’re shining a light on the culture’s regional creative influences, its creators, and the communities nationwide that helped give rise to the genre.”

The Hip Hop Museum Tour is just a preview of the upcoming Universal Hip Hop Museum, which is set to open in New York City’s Bronx Terminal Market in 2025. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the history of hip-hop and to celebrate the artists, DJs, graffiti artists, and breakdancers who have made such an impact on the genre. So don’t miss out – be sure to check out The Hip Hop Museum Tour when it comes to a city near you!
