TDP explains stance on YSRCP's destruction of under construction central party office.
The central party office of YSRCP at Tadepalli, currently under construction, was recently demolished after a complaint was filed by a TDP leader. The complaint alleged that the building was being constructed illegally on land belonging to the Irrigation Department. As per the party's statement on Saturday, the complaint was made to the commissioners of the Capital Region Development Authority and the Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation.

The TDP release further stated that the opposition party office was being built on two acres of land belonging to the Irrigation Department, without proper authorization. This prompted the authorities to take action and under the supervision of MTMC officials, the illegal structures were demolished.

According to the ruling party, the former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had used his power to allocate this land in survey number 202/A1 in Tadepalli. It was also alleged that Reddy had plans to acquire an additional 15 acres of land for the party office, using these two acres as a base. However, the party clarified that the Irrigation Department had not granted permission for the use of this land by YSRCP.

In response to the demolition, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accused the NDA state government, led by Chandrababu Naidu, of taking vindictive measures. He claimed that the demolition had occurred despite a high court order to stop any such activity. In a post on 'X', he stated that Naidu had acted like a dictator by using excavators and bulldozers to bring down the nearly completed central office.

As per a statement released by YSRCP, the demolition was carried out around 5:30 am on Saturday, despite the party's efforts to obtain a stay order from the High Court the previous day. The party also alleged that the CRDA commissioner was informed about the court order but chose to ignore it and proceed with the demolition, which they claimed was a contempt of court.

Reddy went on to criticize the NDA government, comprising of TDP, BJP, and Janasena, stating that the rule of law was non-existent in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He also warned that this demolition was a glimpse of how Naidu's reign would be in the next five years. However, he reassured the people that the YSRCP would not be intimidated by such acts of vendetta and would continue to fight for their rights.
