One of Sydney Trains' dedicated customer service attendants, Peter Boukouvalas, is about to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey as part of the Australian archery team at the Olympics. After wrapping up his duties at St Peters station tonight, the 25-year-old will be off to Paris 2024, where he will compete alongside his fellow Aussie archers.
Boukouvalas' passion for archery began in his final year of high school back in 2016, and now, he can hardly believe that he will be representing his country on the world's biggest stage. "It's still sinking in, to be honest. This has been an incredible journey and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity," he shared with a hint of disbelief.

Boukouvalas also credits his manager, Jason, for being a constant source of support and encouragement throughout his Olympic journey. "I was over the moon when Peter shared the news with me. It's like watching a child grow and achieve their dreams," Jason said with pride. He is confident that Boukouvalas will do his country proud and return home with a medal around his neck.
