Three individuals have been accused of orchestrating a kidnapping and torture scheme in Sydney. According to reports, the trio approached a 31-year-old man as he was making a phone call in Granville on November 23. He was later taken to the hospital for treatment of a black eye, cuts on his head, and a deep wound on his left hand.
Following a thorough investigation, law enforcement officials executed raids at three different addresses in Leichhardt, Kogarah, and Preston. This resulted in the arrest of two 19-year-old men and one 25-year-old man. The trio was charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault with intent to steal a motor vehicle while armed with a weapon, and kidnapping with the intent to demand a ransom.
Yesterday, the two 19-year-old men appeared in court and were denied bail, while the 25-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court today.
