A man has recently been transferred from Victoria to New South Wales on charges of kidnapping and sexual assault. The incident occurred earlier this year, when a 36-year-old woman was allegedly taken against her will by a group of unfamiliar men in Epping. The frightening ordeal took place on Saturday, April 20 at 6:45pm, as the woman was forced into a Toyota Camry before the car drove off with her inside.

With the help of Victoria Police, a 29-year-old man was arrested on June 6 in Oakleigh East. The next day, he was extradited to Sydney. The authorities will allege that the man not only kidnapped and drugged the woman, but also took photographs of her during the sexual assault. It is further claimed that he threatened to release these images unless she paid him a staggering $300,000.
