Coming up next on the wrestling scene, WWE fans are eagerly anticipating the debut of the Wyatt 6, a new faction that has been causing quite the buzz. And it seems like Chelsea Green has a brilliant idea that would make for a perfect addition to this creepy group.
While the members of the Wyatt 6 have yet to be officially confirmed, rumors suggest that the faction will be led by Uncle Howdy, who is none other than the real-life brother of the late wrestling legend, Bray Wyatt. Wyatt's untimely passing at the age of 36 in 2023 left a huge void in the industry, and those closest to him have been working hard to honor his legacy in a meaningful way.
Fans are also hoping that Alexa Bliss, Wyatt's friend and former on-screen partner, will join the group. And it seems like Chelsea is open to bringing her own creative idea to life, one that she has been dreaming about for years. She envisions herself as the human embodiment of one of Wyatt's characters, and she would be thrilled to see it come to fruition if Alexa were to return as her eerie persona, "Dark Alexa."
"I mean, oh my gosh, if Alexa Bliss came back and wanted to play her character again, I would still pitch the exact same thing. I want to be a life-size Lilly," Chelsea exclusively shared with The Agency.
But even without the Wyatt 6, Chelsea has been thriving alongside her current tag team partner Piper Niven. However, the opportunity to play a real-life version of the creepy doll, Lilly, is still something she hopes to do someday.
"I think I would love that. And we're seeing that a little bit with Wendy Chu, which I think is so cool," she said, referencing NXT star Wendy. "And Wendy, I'm so jealous!"
Chelsea has been vocal about wanting to work with Bray Wyatt even before his passing, and she is still open to exploring darker and creepier characters in WWE. But for now, she is enjoying her time with Piper and their chemistry as a tag team, which goes back to their days working together in Japan in 2015.
"We're like long lost sisters. We're little Commonwealth sisters," Chelsea gushed about Piper. "I'm having so much fun being partnered with someone I trust and care about. It's hard to come by."
Since her return at the 2023 Royal Rumble, Chelsea has been a hit with fans, keeping them entertained with her quick wit and sense of humor. She credits this newfound sense of "creative freedom" for allowing her to be her authentic self in the ring.
"It's nice to be trusted now. I'm trusted with my role, I'm trusted with the things that come out of my mouth, even when they're crazy. I'm trusted with the character that I bring to the ring every time. I feel so good!" she shared.
While some may feel frustrated not being in the spotlight and competing for top titles, Chelsea is embracing her role as Piper's hilarious sidekick. She believes that you never know what might resonate with a young fan in the audience, and her goal is to be the most authentic version of herself and her character.
As for the Wyatt 6, they are expected to make their presence felt on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw after months of teasing. While Chelsea may not be a part of the group, fans are hopeful that Alexa Bliss will join in as time goes on, as she is currently on a break from TV after giving birth in November 2023.
Uncle Howdy is set to lead the way, with Joe Gacy, Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, and Dexter Lumis rumored to be part of the faction. In the meantime, fans can enjoy playing as their favorite WWE superstars in the newly released WWE 2K24 game, with the Post Malone & Friends DLC pack set to drop on June 26. And don't forget to catch WWE Raw on Monday nights at 1 am on TNT Sports 1.
