Janice reckons women’s rights are being ‘eroded to accommodate the LGBTQ+ community’. But, is this true? Yes, cis-women’s rights are being affected by the trans rights debate, but not in the way she assumes.
I recently had my presence questioned in the women's toilet, as have other cis-women who don’t have a ‘stereotypically feminine appearance’, by people trying to keep trans people out in the name of women’s rights.
It’s wrong to think that equality is like a slice of pie. The whole point of equality is that everyone gets a seat at the table. As a gay man, I’m proud to champion women’s rights and push against any erosion in the current atmosphere. Don’t tar us all with one brush.
