Satna civic body to broadcast fire incidents live for first time in state.
Satna Municipal Corporation has taken an innovative step to ensure public safety by telecasting an incident of fire live, for the first time in the state. According to official sources, no other state in India has implemented such a measure.

This initiative was taken after instructions issued by the commissioner of Nagar Nigam, Abhishek Gehlot. Fire Officer RP Singh Parmar got a CCTV camera installed on the fire engines. The fire brigade will get instructions from the three control rooms set up in different parts of the district, enabling them to act swiftly if any fire breaks out.

13 fire engines have been equipped with CCTV cameras so far. This will help the fire officials provide immediate help to the people on the site of the incident. Gehlot has also launched various programmes to deal with the incidents of fire.

The control rooms will help the fire officials keep a track of the fire engines and inform others about the problems they might be facing, so that solutions can be provided in a matter of seconds. Parmar also stated that the civic body has set up three control rooms to control the fire engines.

Through this initiative, Satna Municipal Corporation has taken a step forward to ensure public safety. With the help of CCTV cameras and control rooms, the fire officials are better equipped to respond to any fire incidents quickly and efficiently.
