It looks like we may be getting some more news about The Elder Scrolls VI next month! An ex-Bethesda developer has revealed some details about the game, and it seems that some of the mechanics from Skyrim will remain intact. Bruce Nesmith, a design director at Bethesda, has confirmed that the same levelling up and progression system from Skyrim will be used in The Elder Scrolls VI. He has also suggested that a similar magic system to Skyrim will be used rather than the more arcane approach from Oblivion.

Nesmith retired from Bethesda in 2021, but he has been able to give some insight into the development of the game. He revealed that Todd Howard, the game's director, already has an idea of what he wants for the game. He also mentioned that some of the elements from Oblivion and Skyrim will be further developed in The Elder Scrolls VI.

It looks like we won't be hearing any substantial news about The Elder Scrolls VI until 2028 however, although hopefully we'll get a name and teaser trailer before that. In the meantime, we can keep an eye out for more news and updates about the game. If you're looking for the latest gaming content and releases, don't forget to sign up to our newsletter!
