Reneé Rapp, the 23-year-old American actress who plays wealthy lesbian student Leighton in the series, The Sex Lives of College Girls from Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, has confirmed that she will be departing the show midway through season 3.

I hope she gave ya’ll a little bit of that too. She’s such a tiny part of representation but even the tiny parts count. I wouldn’t be half the person I am without her and ya’ll. I love that bitch more than you know.”
Reneé will appear in a handful of episodes in the upcoming season 3, but will not serve as a main role beyond that. Her departure has left fans of the show devastated.
