Actor Raghav Juyal, who recently graced the screen in the film Kill, is celebrating Maha Shivratri with great devotion. He made a special trip to the sacred Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Trimbak, Maharashtra to offer his prayers.
Dressed in a simple kurta and pants, Raghav fully embraced the spiritual essence of the occasion, taking part in rituals with a quiet reverence. Reflecting on the significance of Maha Shivratri, he shared, "In Uttarakhand, this festival holds the same excitement and devotion as Diwali, with a sense of celebration in the air."
Raghav went on to mention, "Back home in Uttarakhand, my family and I used to perform special pujas at a temple called Gopeshwar every year. Unfortunately, due to work commitments, I couldn't make the trip this time. So, I decided to come here and seek blessings from Baba instead."
At the temple, Raghav blended in with his fellow devotees, immersing himself in the serene atmosphere. Those who spotted him were impressed by his simplicity and the deep respect he showed for tradition.
On a popular comedy show, Aapka Apna Zakir, Raghav shared an incident from his past when he was stopped by the police. He discussed the fact that no matter where he goes, he will always be known as the 'King of Slow Motion' in dance.
He recalled, "This happened a long time ago, when the dance show I was a part of became a huge success. I was stopped by the cops at an intersection." Raghav, who was known by his stage name 'Crockroaxz' at the time, continued, "They asked me, 'Hey! Cockroach?'. They even asked me to step out of my car. I showed them all my documents, but they just wanted to see me do my slow-motion dance. It was a heavily crowded area with barricades and cars lined up. So, I ended up performing my signature slow-motion dance for them."
Raghav became a household name after his stint on the popular dance reality show, Dance India Dance 3, where he was a finalist. He then went on to lead the team Raghav Ke Rockstars in Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2 and Dance Ke Superkids, where his team emerged as the winners under his captainship.
He later entered the film industry and made his debut in 2014 with the film Sonali Cable. He has since worked on projects such as ABCD 2, Street Dancer 3D, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in the past year.
Raghav's journey from a dance reality show finalist to a successful actor has been nothing short of inspiring. We wish him all the best for his future endeavors.
