Prince William had a rare night out last weekend to celebrate his 41st birthday. After spending the first part of the day attending the Royal Ascot alongside his wife Catherine, the Princess of Wales, he changed into a more casual look and headed to the famous Camden venue Koko, where Liam Gallagher is set to perform this summer.
William was joined by a couple of friends, believed to be Prince Louis’ godfather and nightclub owner Guy Pelly and James Meade who is Princess Charlotte’s godfather. A fellow reveller even captured William having a bit of a dance to the beat-thumping electronic music. Although he was clearly in a relaxed mood, clutching onto a pint of beer, he kept his awkward dad dancing to a two-step.
It’s not known what time the Royal made it back home to Kate and their three children, but Koko’s electronic-themed night runs from 10pm-5am. William was reminded of his own awkward dancing moves just a few days earlier during his father King Charles III’s Coronation Concert in May. He was seen dancing with his children George and Charlotte while some of the biggest music stars performed outside Windsor Castle.
William’s lifestyle is a little different now that he’s a family man, but the internet will never forget his partying days. In 2017, he was famously caught on camera dancing up a storm to I Got 5 On It by hip-hop group Luniz, with the heir to the throne quite literally standing under a spotlight on the dancefloor and throwing his hands in the air.
These days, he’s much more likely to be found dancing around his kitchen with little Charlotte to Shakira. Despite his shift to a more family-oriented lifestyle, it’s always nice to see the Royal taking some time for himself and having a bit of fun.
