Alison Hammond was drafted in to host This Morning, which meant she had to change her flight plans. Josie Gibson had been hosting the show with Craig Doyle all week, and his departure on yesterday's episode was marked by some rather harsh comments. Craig was replaced by Alison, and Josie was grateful, especially since Alison had to delay her holiday to be there.
In the opening segment, Josie thanked Alison for being there. She asked if Alison had put off her vacation for her, and Alison confirmed she had changed her flights just for the viewers. The two shared a hug and called each other legends.
On the episode, Tony Hudgell, an eight-year-old fundraiser, confronted Alison about not attending his recent expedition.
