She's back! Emma, Lola Pearce's estranged mother, is headed to Walford soon and it looks like she's about to stir up a lot of trouble for Phil Mitchell and Kat Slater.
Emma returned to Lola's life earlier this year after leaving her daughter when she was just three years old and then she departed again shortly before Lola's death, leaving her mark by secretly giving Lexi her phone number.
Next week, after Jay finds out that Lexi has been texting Emma, Emma returns to Walford. Jay confronts her and Emma tells him that Lexi has been messaging her for weeks and she's really worried about her. Jay throws her out but Callum suggests that they should listen to her just in case Lexi is having some issues.
At the same time, Kat and Phil are already in a bit of a feud as Kat found out about Phil and Alfie's attempts to help Tommy with his anger problems and Phil didn't tell her about Alfie's cancer scare news.
Phil tries to make amends by bringing chocolates to the cab office for Kat, but his efforts are unsuccessful. Phil goes to Peggy's to be alone but Emma barges in and demands a G&T. Something must have happened between the two of them as the next day, Phil comes home late after being out all night and he promises to be honest with Kat from now on.
