Odisha's CHSE has announced the results for all three streams of Plus-II exams on the same day after 16 years.
The much-anticipated day arrived in Bhubaneswar, as the Council of Secondary Education, Odisha announced the matriculation results. Excitement and nervousness filled the air as students eagerly awaited their fate. A few moments later, the results of the Plus-II examinations were released by CHSE officials on Sunday. Students were able to access their results on the official website, www.orissaresults.nic.in.

At a press conference held at the CHSE office in Bhubaneswar, the results for all three streams - Arts, Science, and Commerce were published. The pass percentages for the three streams were 80.95%, 86.93%, and 82.27%, respectively. CHSE Chairman Aswhini Mishra expressed his joy and said, "It's been 16 years since we were able to release the results for all three streams on the same day. This is a great achievement for us."

Mishra also mentioned that girl students have outperformed boys in all three streams. In Arts, the pass percentage for girls was 87.56%, while for boys it was 72.68%. In Science, 87.74% of girls cleared the examination, while only 86.21% of boys were successful. Similarly, in Commerce, 85.55% of girls passed, while the pass percentage for boys was 80.40%. This clearly shows the dedication and hard work of the female students.

Apart from the regular streams, the results for vocational education students were also released. As per CHSE, 68.02% of students in this category were able to pass the examination. It was also reported that 21 higher secondary schools in Arts, 292 schools in Science, and 92 schools in Commerce have achieved a 100% pass rate. This is an outstanding accomplishment and speaks volumes about the quality of education in these schools.

Interestingly, not a single school has reported zero results, which is a testament to the efforts put in by both students and teachers. The Plus-II examinations were conducted from February 16 to March 20 this year across the state, and it is evident that students have put their heart and soul into their studies. This is a proud moment for everyone involved in the education system in Odisha.
