Never undersell yourself

We tend to underestimate our own talents and abilities and we often do not recognise our own value. Sometimes, this behaviour is caused by the fact that other people see us in a way that is different from how we see ourselves.

The idea is that you should never price yourself too low in order to get a sale if you believe that you can do more for your customer. This practice has been cited as key to the success of companies like Apple and Starbucks.

It can also be seen as one of the keys to success in life, not just business.

When we never undersell ourselves, we are able to recognize the value of our skills and experience. By doing so, we can be confident in our own abilities and present them to others. We also end up feeling like we deserve better and that belief will help us take the first step towards getting what we want.
