Netflix star sued for allegedly defrauding buyer in $5M mansion sale.
Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim is in hot water, as he is reportedly being sued for "fraud and concealment". An advertising mogul is accusing the Netflix star of deliberately hiding defects in a $5,000,000 Los Angeles mansion.

The mogul is seeking damages from Jason and other defendants, after claiming to have paid $1,700,000 in repairs due to the issues in the lavish three-bedroom, six bathroom pad. According to papers filed to the California Superior Court, Jason is accused of committing "intentional misrepresentations" and being "fully aware" of the defects.

The lawsuit also states that the issues were only discovered after two serious rainstorms when the new owner moved in, and water leaked from the ceilings of the bedrooms. In addition, it's alleged there was mould and fungus above the master bedroom, as well as a five-foot gutter with a cap in the ceiling to capture water from the leaking deck.

The water damage led to "severe dry-rot damage" and "termite infestations". To make matters worse, it's further alleged that the owner saw blue painters' tape holding rags in place to collect water to conceal the leak in a hot water reservoir tank.

The new owner is now in a "severe state of distress, financial burden and uncertainty regarding the safety of this significant purchase and investment". Jason, who is the Oppenheim Group founder and CEO along with his twin brother Brett, has been involved in his fair share of drama onscreen in recent seasons of Selling Sunset.

The Agency has reached out to the Oppenheim Group for comment. Selling Sunset is available to watch on Netflix. If anyone has a celebrity story, video or pictures, they are encouraged to get in touch with the Agency entertainment team.
