I’m A Celebrity’s Nella Rose has grilled Nigel Farage over his controversial policies, with the former UKIP leader and politician's inclusion in the ITV reality show sparking huge backlash. Nella asked Nigel if he was anti-immigrant, and why he was largely hated by the general public. Farage replied that he was not anti-immigrant, and that people were making unfair accusations. He said, “You can disagree with somebody, but to chuck around accusations the way they’ve been chucked around is grossly unfair. All I’ve said is we cannot go on with the numbers coming to Britain that are coming.”
Nella continued to push the point, asking Farage what was ‘so wrong’ about immigrants, pointing out that they were a ‘good thing’ and had contributed massively to British society. Farage claimed that immigrants were the problem with a lack of GP appointments, to which Nella retorted that the NHS was lacking funding.
The pair eventually decided to ‘agree to disagree’, with Nella concluding that she ‘really liked’ Farage in the jungle and wanted to get to the bottom of why he was universally hated.

So far, this season has suffered from a slump in viewing figures, with the opening episode pulling in an average of 7 million, compared to the 9.1 million who tuned in for the show’s launch last year.
