The first Hindi Day was celebrated on September 14, 1953, after the then Prime Minister of India Pandit's national leadership decided to commemorate the moment as Hindi Diwas. On September 14, 1949, the Constituent Assembly accepted Hindi within the Nagari because of the official language of India.
The day is well known for cultural programs, speeches, and various other activities. These activities are usually held in schools and colleges across India.
The day also marks the birthday of Beohar Rajendra Simha, who was an acclaimed Indian scholar. National Hindi Day is well known everywhere in India on the 14th of September each year. it's every day to honor the Hindi language and also to push its use across the country.
Apart from “Hindi Diwas”, the planet Hindi Day is widely known each year on the 10th of January to commemorate the anniversary of the primary World Hindi conference held at Nagpur on January 10.
