The much-loved matriarch, Nana McQueen, has been on a mission as of late to talk sense into Mercedes over her affair with Warren Fox. Mercedes refused to come clean to beau Felix Westwood and took a leave of absence from the eponymous village to seek advice from Jacqui. Nana has been less than pleased with her granddaughter's actions, scolding her for betraying Felix with his best friend, especially when he's been struggling with his mental health.
Warren, meanwhile, has made it his mission to win Mercedes' affection, believing that they belong together. Nana has been determined to get the hard-man out of the village so that Mercedes can return, issuing him with a warning to stay away. Unfortunately, this leads to a tense showdown between the two, with Nana trying her best to get him to leave.
Afterwards, Nana heads home but is unable to get into the house. As a result, she goes around the back and leaves Mercedes a voicemail before taking a funny turn, collapsing in the garden. Warren just happens to be passing by when he spots an unresponsive Nana, racing to her rescue. Mercedes is summoned and returns to the village, heading straight for the hospital, where tensions run high.
Felix, meanwhile, shows up and confronts Mercy over her disappearing act. But what will she have to say? We'll just have to wait and see but she subsequently sits by Nana's bedside and reveals that she's pregnant. Little does she know, however, that Warren has overheard!
Nana's life hangs in the balance this festive season and it remains to be seen if she will be okay. This massive murder twist is sure to be one to watch and fans should tune in to E4 on Tuesday December 26 at 7pm to find out.
