Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the famous rapper and businessman, is facing a series of new lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault. The lawsuits, filed by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, include allegations from six different people, one of whom is a minor.
Last month, Combs was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. The 54-year-old has denied all allegations against him. However, with these new lawsuits, the accusations span decades.
According to reports, four of the accusers are male, with one claiming that he was only 16 when he attended one of Combs’ infamous white parties in 1998. The unnamed man alleges that Combs took a particular interest in him, promising to help with his music career due to his appearance.
During the party, Combs reportedly ordered the man to remove his pants so he could inspect his genitals, claiming it was a “rite of passage.” The man complied and Combs allegedly proceeded to touch and squeeze his genitals.
In another suit filed in Manhattan, a man referred to as John Doe claims he was hired as security for a party in 2006. He alleges that Combs drugged him and sexually assaulted him in a van.
A third man, who worked for Ecko Clothing in 2008, claims he was pistol-whipped by Combs before being orally raped in the stockroom of Macy’s flagship store in New York. Another John Doe alleges that he was drugged and sexually assaulted by at least three men at a party thrown by Combs in October 2021.
Buzbee, who claims to represent up to 120 alleged victims, has vowed to expose the enablers who allowed this behavior to continue. He also stated that they will name those involved, even if it shocks the public.
Combs has not publicly addressed these recent lawsuits, but he has denied all allegations made against him in the past. He has been the subject of multiple lawsuits in recent months and was arrested last month. Currently, he is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being denied bail.
Damian Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, held a press conference after Combs’ arrest and stated that he led a racketeering conspiracy involving sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice. Williams also claimed that Combs used force and coercion to engage in sexual acts with male commercial sex workers.
Combs’ attorney expressed disappointment with the arrest, stating that they believe it is an unjust prosecution of an innocent man. The Agency has reached out to Combs’ representatives for a comment on the matter.
