Kirsty Mason, a 35-year-old mum living in Barrow near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, is certain she has seen something out of this world.
On Tuesday night, Kirsty and her daughter Bella, 11, were looking out of Bella's bedroom window when they noticed three objects flashing red and blue up in the sky. While Bella was scared, Kirsty was excited and convinced that the little green men were visiting Planet Earth.
Kirsty and Bella were so amazed that they stayed up until 2am in the hope of catching another glimpse of the strange lights. Kirsty even got in her car to try and chase the mysterious lights. Kirsty's mum Christine was also phoned when she spotted the lights and all three of them became UFO hunters, but ultimately, had no luck in seeing the lights again.
Kirsty is adamant that the suspected UFO was not a meteor shower, aircraft or Chinese lantern. She said: “We were really excited by it. I’m 100% sure we saw a UFO and now I am wondering if anyone else saw it.” Bella added: “It is definitely aliens.”
The county of Suffolk is no stranger to UFO sightings. Rendlesham Forest is Britain’s most famous UFO encounter and since the incident in 1980, when American airmen at the military base saw a triangular spacecraft with lights like a 'glowing red eye', UFO fans claim they have been seeing aliens around the area.
Kirsty and Bella Mason are just the latest to spot something out of the ordinary in the Suffolk skies. Could they have seen the little green men visiting Planet Earth?
