Morbi bridge collapse: Death toll rises to 135

The Morbi hanging bridge collapse is one of the worst disasters in India's history. The death toll has risen to 135, with many more still missing.

The Indian state of Gujarat was left in shock after a section of the Morbi Hanging Bridge collapsed on Sunday, October 30th. The incident occurred at around 6:45 PM local time when the bridge is overloaded due to a crowd, leading to its collapse and the deaths of over 100 people.

The incident happened when a group of people started crossing the bridge and it suddenly gave way. The main reason for the bridge collapse is an overload of crowds due to festivals and the carelessness of the system to let them enter without any restrictions. Morbi hanging bridge is renovated and make it open to the public in 5 days.
