As the holiday season approaches, the residents of Albert Square in EastEnders know that it's not truly Christmas until Mo Harris comes up with one of her infamous money-making schemes. After a brief absence from Walford, Mo has returned and wasted no time in getting back to her old tricks. This time, her target is the local market, which is facing a threat from developers.
Next week, Mo causes a stir on Bridge Street when she starts selling Christmas items without a proper license. But it doesn't stop there - she's also been inspired by the cunning Harvey Monroe to come up with a new idea for the market traders. Mo's idea? A saucy calendar featuring the men of Walford, all in the name of raising some much-needed funds.
To make her plan a success, Mo enlists the help of the popular local influencer, Kim Fox, to handle the PR. She also manages to secure the sponsorship of Nicola Mitchell, the new owner of the Queen Vic. But is everything as above board as Mo claims it to be? With her track record of being light-fingered, it's hard to say.
Meanwhile, Mo's relative Jean Slater is going through a tough time. After unexpectedly coming into some money from an unknown pension pot, Jean has fallen victim to a scam by a fraudulent financial advisor. As her daughter Stacey tries to convince her to report the matter to the police, Jean is left feeling helpless and unsure of what to do.
