Darnell Wells and Zac Sherrod, two teenagers from Memphis, recently joined forces to help out the homeless population in their city. After Wells posed a question on his Facebook account asking if anyone wanted to join him in feeding the homeless, Sherrod responded with action. The pair ended up giving out over 30 hamburgers to the homeless.
Wells usually works at The Shop in Frayser, but he wanted to do something positive for his community. He and Sherrod grabbed some clippers, collapsible outdoor chairs, and set out to cut the hair of the homeless people.
When they arrived at the location, there were only two people waiting, but by the end of their good deed, nine people had their hair cut and there were five more waiting. Wells told WREG, “We ended up giving out at least 30 burgers.”
