In the post, Max shared a selfie from his hospital bed and opened up about his current health situation. He described it as a ‘difficult’ few months ahead and shared that he had been feeling ‘really unwell’ before being taken to the hospital. He also mentioned that he considers himself lucky that the issue was caught in time.
Max wrote, "Yesterday, I felt really unwell and was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, after some tests, they discovered that I have some issues with my heart. I have more tests coming up to determine the extent of the problem and what kind of surgery I will need to get back on my feet. It's going to be a difficult few weeks/months, and it's not exactly what I had planned for Christmas."
The singer also expressed his gratitude for the love and support he has been receiving from his partner, Maisie Smith, her family, his own family, and friends. He said, "I'm surrounded by love and support from my wonderful partner Maisie, her family, my family, and friends. I'm in the best place right now."
Max also shared that he was aware that this was a huge shock and a setback, but he is determined to face it with all his strength. He joked about possibly getting bored in the upcoming weeks as he will have to spend a lot of time in bed. He also apologized in advance for possibly updating his fans frequently about his health.
